Thank you to all of you that joined me during the vernissage. It was a great afternoon at the Shenkman Arts Centre. Amazing art complex.
The exhibition will be up until January 10th. If you are planing to visit the gallery let me know. I will be happy to be there.

Downtown is a whole organism in itself and we are all part of it. We circulate in it like particles charged with energy (positive or negative as we choose) and in order to function we interact with objects like concrete, buildings, light poles and signs. They are permanently watching us, supporting us, basically bearing us yet we seldom stop to notice them. Painting stroke by stroke over my photographs and printing on aluminum, I add by hand what my camera can’t capture: all those existing vibrations, sounds, energy and connections between the city and us. This is my Downtown Aluminum Series printed on aluminum, a medium that completes this materialistic idea of becoming part of the city, its energy, its urban rush.

When visiting to Montreal take a stroll in beautiful Old Montreal and drop by Galerie D’Art Ambiance located at No. 81 St Paul E. which now features my latest series on Aluminum.
Galerie D’Art Ambiance is the latest addition to the Le Bourget group of art galleries in Montreal. This group of galleries located in the heart of the Quartier des Arts on Saint-Paul Street has made its mark over the years for its enlightened choice of Québec, Canadian and international artists. I am delighted to have been invited to join the artists represented by Galerie D’Art Ambiance.
